Jonathan David - Director
A general management and supply chain specialist, Jonathan has worked in Business Development, Contracts, Procurement and Supply Chain Management in winning teams for over 40 years. Prior to setting up Affinity Optical he led the global procurement team at Specsavers for 25 years. His sub-speciality expertise has been the development and implementation of clinical technology.
Prior to his career in retail and clinical optics he worked in a variety of supply management roles, starting with the UK NHS, before working in the defence and electricity industries. He holds an MSc in procurement, an MBA, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (FCIPS). He is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers and a Freeman of the City of London.
Jonathan is based in Guernsey, Channel Islands.
Kerry Pullin - Director
With more than 25 years in buying, merchandising, manufacturing, sales and marketing, Kerry has worked for many of the world’s largest brands, including Specsavers where he transformed its frame strategy, introducing top class brands and diversifying the frame supply base.
Prior to Specsavers, Kerry held senior retail buying and brand roles at Asda and Matalan, nurturing one category to become the market’s largest by volume. Kerry has also conceived and run several brands and businesses and has a comprehensive knowledge of retail, product, manufacturing and category management in the UK and globally. He holds the Institute of Directors diploma in corporate direction and is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers and a Freeman of the City of London.

Lene Ringmann - Director
A qualified registered Danish optometrist with 25 years clinical and commercial experience, Lene led global product development at Specsavers for ophthalmic and contact lenses for brands and own labels for 12 years. She was responsible for sourcing and developing state-of-the-art products, supplier partnerships as well as selling into markets, product launches and customer surveillance.
Before joining Specsavers, Lene was supply chain director at Synoptik in Scandinavia and ran contact lens
strategy for Pearle Europe. Lene is a member of the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA), the first Danish Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers and a Freeman of the City of London.
Lene is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Stig Hansen - Chief Product Consultant
Stig is a highly respected optical product specialist with over 30 years of experience working for both global and local optical practices. Prior to setting up his own businesses in 2020, he was Head of Design and Product Development at Specsavers, working in the Nordics, the Guernsey support office and also the Hong Kong supply office over a 12-year period.
He is a registered Danish optometrist, and now an owner and a partner in a growing optical chain in Copenhagen where he continues to work in store testing patients’ eyes most weeks. His love and enthusiasm for optical product also ensures he continues to be heavily involved in the optical supply chain, monitoring eyewear trends and supply opportunities.
Stig is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Dave Allison - Frame Design Consultant
Dave studied at the University of Technology in Sydney and is an experienced brand Founder and Creative Director with a highly successful history of working in the eyewear, accessories, apparel and fashion industry. Among Dave’s many skills are trend analysis and forecasting, luxury goods consultancy, street & high-end fashion, illustration and photography.
Prior to setting up his own company – Dave Allison Designs – Dave was Head of Product at Bailey Nelson, and before that he founded premium handmade designer sunglasses and eyewear company Sunday Somewhere.
Dave is based in Melbourne, Australia.
